Life....

Life has been just going on around here.. Nothing terribly exciting or newsworthy.

Oldest daughter bought her first car, a used pick up truck.  She is happy. It needs some work, to be inspected- but it's hers.

I made jelly for the first time yesterday. Was an experience! And I am so grateful that I have a wonderful friend to teach me new things.

Just been working, taking care of the house, family, and pets.. nothing to make any note of particularly.

But since it's been almost 2 months since I posted I thought I should "catch - up" .

We are all healthy, reasonably happy, and surviving life :) With two teenage girls in the house, that's pretty much all we can ask for at this point in time.

I miss my oldest child a lot.. He moved about 3 hours away several months ago.  I had gotten so used to seeing him for our weekly Sunday family dinners, that it's been hard not seeing him.

I haven't even seen my granddaughter very much anymore. Since she is in school, and spends every other weekend with my son, we do get to see her one Friday night/Saturday day a month, which is such a blessing.  Even though I am working Friday nights, she gets to spend time with her Papa.. and then Saturday mornings I  fix her favorite pancake breakfast :) This last weekend we took her to Six Flags during our day.  It was so much fun.. She is such am awesome kid..

Second son is just working a lot, he has jury duty coming up next week though..   it's supposed to be a longish trial, 6 weeks they estimate..

Oldest daughter doing well in college..  But we knew she would.  She is definitely heading for a very bright future.

Youngest daughter busy with schoolwork, bell choir, her Shakespeare co-op class, and her Doctor Who obsession..   She did find that she LOVES Roller Coasters recently.. Earlier in the summer we could not get her ON one, now she loves them..  She and her friends have gone to Six Flags a few times, and they got her to ride them!

Nothing more to say really.. been quite a boring life around her.. I have the best friends I could possibly ask for...   More like sisters than friends, and for that I am so blessed!!!

Off to finish baking bread to go with the jelly I made yesterday now!

Well 2025 has been different than expected so far...

First things, I was hired by Aetna in February. I'm so grateful for this job, and i'm good at it, or was starting to be good. Best ...
