My 17 year old has given us a lot to be proud of.. She graduated high school a year early.. is a full time college student now, making 4.0 in all her classes. She bought her first vehicle all on her own, and is getting it all fixed up with her own money.
She is really doing well. I will be the first to admit she drives me nuts 99% of the time.. Of all our kids, she is the one that seems to enjoy pushing my buttons the most.. But she has accomplished so much in such a short time!
She worked over the summer, saved up her pay, is babysitting after classes (sharing a babysitting job with her sister, - they switch off weeks, so they both earn the $$) Studying hard, and learning how to do tune up, get new tires, and even learned how to get the muffler replaced on her new truck.
And she is only 17..
