33 years...

Friday is the 33rd anniversary of our (first)  wedding...

Yes, we've married each other twice...  The first time 08/24/1979

We were very young.. just 16 1/2 and 19..

February 1981 - Still look like babies

We had struggles, problems, fights, 2 kids, good times, bad times, and it ended in 1991 with a divorce. That divorce was not what people normally think of as divorced.. I think we spent more time together as a family, than we did before.... We didn't fight, (small disagreements, nothing major) We made some personal changes..  and then in 1994 (06/11/1994) we remarried.

we were growing up.. :)

I always count from the beginning... And we get to celebrate both anniversaries :) (My birthday is on Valentines day. - so instead of getting a separate celebratory day for Valentines, and Birthday, I relish in our two anniversaries)
1984
Anyway...  33 years..  This Friday.
I love my husband more than I ever thought possible, and feel loved more than I feel I deserve.

At Mineral Wells State Park 2003

It's been a roller-coaster to say the least.. but the last year we finally seem to have found this calm lagoon of peace, contentment, and happiness..   It was like the log ride at Six Flags, twist and turns, and a big splash (A really rough 2010)  - then calm and peaceful.. (although a little damp  haha)

July 2011 - we took a day trip

He is my best friend..  I trust him with everything and anything.. He is a wonderful husband, breadwinner, house fixer, appliance and auto repair-person, and a great dad and a super Papa. He also is a good son.. he does so much for his mother, and rarely voices his complaints about all that is expected of him.

I love this man..

Today - August 21 2012 - At Six Flags over Texas with our beautiful Granddaughter

Happy Anniversary Daryl...

Hope we have at least another 33 together.
